Impulse Point is a privately-held company formed to address the challenges of instituting network access policies relating to intellectual property and endpoint security within the large enterprise environment.

J. David Robinson, Chief Executive Officer

A technology and business expert, David is an entrepreneur who has worked on projects spanning three continents. He has founded and sold both startup and mature companies. He has occupied various roles in diverse organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense and a Big-5 accounting firm as well as served as Chief Information and Technology Officer for a NASDAQ listed healthcare company.

David’s areas of expertise include aligning IT with business objectives, developing large-scale decision support systems for the healthcare industry, and creating strategic achievable technology visions. Educated both abroad and in the U.S., David now calls Lakeland, Florida home and enjoys channeling his energy towards challenging projects requiring his technical and business skills.

 

Dennis A. Muley, President

Dennis Muley has amassed a broad range of technology and business development knowledge throughout his professional career. Recently Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a systems integration and strategic consulting firm, Dennis was responsible for creating and implementing the business strategy that propelled the firm into one of the top five in the Central Florida Region.

Experienced in developing and executing full life-cycle startup business plans through product concept, business justification, development, and production; Dennis also has a proven track record in developing direct and indirect partner sales channels that are tightly linked to product management and customer support.

Throughout his career he has guided many large enterprises in leveraging highly scalable and secure information technologies for competitive business advantage. Dennis gained valuable experience while working for such nationally recognized firms as IBM, Cable & Wireless a-Services, and Sprint E|Solutions. Dennis has technical expertise in application integration, Internet technology, business intelligence, business continuity planning, and network security.

A lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, Dennis has academic degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Florida.

 

Karl H. Muehlberger, Chief Operating Officer

Karl Muehlberger has close to 20 years of experience in the technology field, with more than six years in the design and manufacturing of high tech systems based on standard computing platforms. Over the last decade, Karl has been engaged at the management level in several technology start-up companies, primarily providing organizational and operational structure - key components in the operational success of a company and the end-user experience. These businesses were engaged in diverse fields from industrial manufacturing to music and entertainment to Internet companies. An electronics engineer by training, Karl’s expertise in the design and manufacturing of high tech hardware complements his extensive management experience.

 

V. Maximillian Garcia, Chief Strategy Officer

Max Garcia has spent the last 10 years in the technology industry. Most recently he has worked for Walker Digital, a Stamford think tank responsible for incubating and launching various Internet companies, most notably Priceline.com. Max’s duties involved creative problem solving and innovative thinking to invent initial concepts, business plans, and primary implementations for various businesses in a wide range of fields. His areas of expertise include intellectual property development and the creation of solutions for business opportunities. His practical experience has given him invaluable insights into the challenges faced by business owners, managers, and senior executives charged with guiding their businesses toward a profitable future. Max holds degrees in Pre-law and Communications from Fordham University in New York and a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

 

Richard Campbell, Vice President, Sales

Richard Campbell brings proven leadership and experience in selling and delivering IT products and services to Enterprise clients on a Global scale. In his role as Vice President of Sales, Richard is responsible for driving Impulse Point’s direct and partner-related sales activities for a team of sales professionals He also leads the efforts to uncover and negotiate deals with key, marquis clients in new markets or vertical segments. Richard has a long track record of success in sales, marketing, operations, and R&D roles spanning a 22 year professional career at both HP and AT&T. His special areas of expertise revolve around designing consultative sales and marketing strategies for complex, high-touch solutions. Richard holds a MSEE/BSEE from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

 

Brian Herzig, Vice President, Partner Development

Brian Herzig joins Impulse Point with over 25 years of proven leadership in the Information Technology industry. Brian has spent most of his career at Hewlett Packard, where he was most recently the Client Director responsible for HP's relationship with Cisco. Prior to that, Brian was the National ISV Sales Manager, responsible for driving business opportunities with the key Independent Software Vendors. In addition, Brian has experience in channel development and service provider engagement. In his role as Vice President for Business Development, Brian is responsible for driving "go to market" programs and revenue generation through Impulse Point's alliance and technology partners. Brian holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BS from Georgetown University. He maintains residences in both Tampa, Florida and Los Angeles, California with his wife and three children.
